The MouseStation Crew

Mike Demopoulos & Mark Goldhaber - Co-Hosts

Proving that you can never tell when or where a Disney-inspired friendship could start, Mike and Mark met at a screening of "Dream On Silly Dreamer" in Minneapolis the afternoon before Disney's annual shareholder meeting in February, 2005. Mark was there to review the film for MousePlanet.com and prepare to cover the next day's meeting. Mike is a Minnesota native, and was there as a Disney fan. He would be leaving the next day for a family trip to Walt Disney World, and would interview for the Walt Disney World College Program immediately upon his return.

Mike would eventually get accepted into the college program, and was very successful in his assignment at Disney's Pop Century Resort. He decided to see what the attractions jobs were about and managed to win a position on the Test & Adjust team for Expedition Everest. After deciding that working in attractions was not for him, Mike took his leave of Walt Disney World for the time being. He's now back in Minnesota, still loving the Disney Magic.

Mark started writing feature articles for MousePlanet in March 2003 and took on the weekly Walt Disney World Park Updates in September 2003. He's now written over 300 articles for the site, and continues his never-ending quest to find a way to work 24 hours a day without the need for sleep. He's still living and working in upstate New York, much too far from Walt Disney World.

Mike & Mark started the Magical Moment Podcast in August, 2006, and recorded 21 shows before closing up shop at the end of December, 2006, to begin the MouseStation podcast.

Andrew Rich - Disneyland Bureau Chief

Andrew has been with MousePlanet since the very beginning, mostly working behind the scenes to keep everything running. He is the "Voice of MousePlanet", contributing the Disneyland Resort segment to the MousePlanetWatch podcast and emceeing MouseAdventure. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and three cats, runs Project Insomnia, and visits Disneyland several times a year.

Steven Ng - Audio Engineer and Sound Editor

Steven is a web applications programmer. He is also a post production engineer with The Conversations Network , one of the first podcast networks. He worked in the aerospace industry until a trip to Walt Disney World in 1995 inspired him to head into the consumer electronics industry where he worked on mobile technologies like the Magic Link Mobile Communicator and the Palm Handheld Computer.

Podcasts for beginners

What is a Podcast?
A Podcast is a radio show on the internet. The show can be produced by anyone, anywhere. It can also be experienced by anyone, anywhere. Think of it as Public Access for 21st Century.

Do I need an iPod?
Even though it's called a podcast, you do not need a iPod. (Even though it was indeed named for that device.) All you need is a computer. If you have a iPod or other digital music player (iRiver, Zune, Max, Soundblast, etc.), even better – you can listen to podcasts on the go. You can also burn CDs of podcasts, just like you burn CDs of your music.

How do I listen to MouseStation?
There are 2 easy ways to listen to MouseStation. The first is right at the top of this page, where you see a little music player. Just click the show you want. The episode will load into the player and start playing.

The other easy way to listen is with a podcast downloading program (also known as a podcatcher). This will let you get MouseStation automagically downloaded for you each and every week!

The most popular podcatcher program is Apple's iTunes, it's free, works on Windows and Macs, burns CDs, is easy to use and will sync with your iPod if you have one. (Though you still don't need an iPod.) You can get iTunes on this site. Once installed, just click the iTunes link at the top of this page. It's that easy!

There are many other podcatcher programs as well. Just add the appropriate link in the subscribe section above to the appropriate place in the program to download the MouseStation. Juice and Doppler are popular choices for Windows Users.

Enjoy!
That's it now wasn't that easy? Now you can hear everything that MouseStation has to offer. After you master downloading podcasts, check out some of the other Disney podcasts at the Disney Podcast Directory.

Still Need Help?
