New Orleans Square

New Orleans Square makes masterful use of a small amount of space. It was the first land added to Disneyland after the parks opening and had to be squeezed into a bit of unused space behind Frontierland along the rivers of America.

The main part of New Orleans Square is themed to that city's French Quarter with its narrow streets and hidden courtyards. As with the real thing, it is a good idea to pay attention to what is going on up on the balconies. Haunted Mansion expands the theme out into the antebellum mansions of the southern bayou.
