Downtown Disney

Opened in 2000 as part of the Disney's California Adventure resort expansion, Downtown Disney is essentially an outdoor mall.

Downtown Disney has a mix of Disney-owned and independently-operated shops and restaurants, including some nationally-recognized chains.

By June 2018, all of the businesses west of the Monorail beam will close to make room for a planned fourth Disneyland Resort hotel. The 700-room, four-diamond hotel is slated to open in 2021.

Sephora— A make-up megastore with just about anything you could want, including makeovers.
Sunglass Icon— Large collection of designer sunglasses.
The Disney Dress Shoppe— This Disney-operated store has been many things over the years, and currently offers a full line of Disney dresses and accessories.
The LEGO Imagination Center— Just about anything you could want from LEGO. Consider walking through just to take in some of the large LEGO sculptures.
World of Disney— The largest Disney store west of Walt Disney World has just about every imaginable Disney item available.
