Transportation Information

On foot: It is possible to walk to the Port Orleans Riverside resort but walking to other destinations is not recommended.

Bus: There is one bus stop at Port Orleans French Quarter, outside the main building. Direct routes are offered to the four theme parks, both water parks, and Downtown Disney. Other destinations will require a bus transfer.

Monorail: No

Ferries: There is a boat that travels between Port Orleans French Quarter and Downtown Disney.

Dining

  • Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is the resort's food court, open from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, though some sections close earlier. There are no other dining locations at the resort, though a full service restaurant is available at Port Orleans Riverside.

Entertainment and Amenities

  • Riverside Marina, shared by the two Port Orleans resorts, rents out various watercraft. 30-minute horse-drawn carriage rides through the Port Orleans resorts is available in the evenings starting at 6:00 p.m. for $30. Bike and surreys are available for rental, and the Medicine Show video arcade is located next to the lobby. Cane pole fishing is offered in 30 minute segments.
