Gym and Exercise: The resort does not have a fitness center. There is a 1.7 mile paved path along the river that connects the Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter resorts.

Transportation Information

On foot: It is possible to walk to the Port Orleans French Quarter resort but walking to other destinations is not recommended.

Bus: Buses allow direct access (without transferring) to the theme parks, Disney Springs, and the water parks. Reaching other destinations will require a transfer.

Monorail: No

Ferries: There is a water taxi that connects the two Port Orleans resorts with Disney Springs as well as Old Key West Resort and Saratoga Springs Resort.

Dining

Boatwright's Dining Hall— Southern-style food in an old boathouse environment.

  • Riverside Mill is the resort's food court, themed as a cotton mill; it is open 6 a.m. to midnight.
  • River Roost is the resort's bar with live entertainment. Full bar and light snacks. Open 4 p.m. to midnight.
  • Muddy Rivers is the pool bar on Ol' Man Island with a limited sandwich menu. Open 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Entertainment and Amenities

  • Bikes and two or four person surreys are available for rent at the Riverside Levee.
  • Medicine Show video arcade is located next to the lobby.
  • Cane pole fishing (catch and release) is available at the Fishin' Hole on Ol' Man Island.
