Time Commitment

Open/Close: Opens and closes with the park.

Wait Times: During busy periods the standby queue can top 40 minutes and FastPass is recommended. Otherwise try to visit early or near closing.

Length of Ride: 5 minutes

FastPass: Yes

Single Rider: Yes. Speak to a cast member at the beginning of the standby line. The pass given will allow you to use the FastPass queue.

Queue Description: The queue's outside area is not particularly themed and is exposed. Once inside the area looks like a large industrial hangar with minimal decorations. Photos of pioneers in aviation line the walls however.

Access Information

Health Restriction: ride is gentle and shouldn't pose a problem for anybody other than those afraid of heights or prone to motion sickness. Guests with difficulty sitting upright may need to reconsider since the only restraint is a lap belt. Pregnant women should not ride.

Ride Access: The queue is wheelchair and ECV accessible. The ramp down to the theaters is somewhat steep and you will likely have to stop on it.

Wheelchair Transfer: Wheelchair and ECV users will need to transfer into seat on the simulator.

Service Animals: No

Audio: Music and scenic sounds play during the film, but nothing verbal. Closed captioning is available for the safety presentation before the ride.

Weight and Size Issues: Larger guests may find the simulator seats to be tight, though the seatbelts should accommodate all but the largest guests.

Parenting Information

Height Restriction: 40" (102 cm.)

Child Swap: Ask the cast member standing outside of the show building for a rider switch pass. When the rest of your party exits the attraction, two people may return through the Fast Pass entrance.

Other Issues: Passengers sit in seats that hang from the ride vehicle and the images in the movie give the feeling that you’re very high in the air. Take this into consideration with children who may be anxious about heights. That said, this is a wonderful ride.
